WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM…

“Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not EVIL and UNBELIEVING, TURNING YOU AWAY from the living God. You must WARN EACH OTHER EVERY DAY, so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God JUST AS FIRMLY as when WE FIRST BELIEVED, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.” (Heb. 3:12-14)

I believe that when the writer of Hebrews penned these words, he was looking at our day. Many have stopped reading their bibles, the LIVING, POWERFULL, GOD BREATHED WORD! Many churches have willing shut down, revivals are a thing of the past. Where are the miracles???

Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, ANYONE who believes in me will DO the same works I have done, and even GREATER WORKS, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for ANYTHING in my name, and I WILL DO IT, so that the Son can BRING GLORY to the Father. Yes, ask me for ANYTHING in my name, and I WILL DO IT!” (John 14:12-14)

Remember, “…we are CHILDREN OF GOD; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM, for we shall see Him as He is.” (1 John 3:2)

We won’t just all of a sudden be changed and be like Jesus, no, we’ll warn each other to be “faithful to the end” so that right now we can commit ourselves to TRUST GOD as NEVER BEFORE.
