THE WORD OF GOD!

“For the word of the LORD is RIGHT AND TRUE; he is faithful in all he does. The LORD loves righteousness and justice; THE EARTH IS FULL OF HIS UNFAILING LOVE.” (Psa. 33:4-5) [Our Abba Father makes himself known to us, 1. In his WORD, by divine revelation, all that which God at various times and in assorted manners spoke to the children of men, and that is all as it should be, a father communicates with His children; His commands exactly agree with His rules of equity and His eternal descriptions of good and evil. All of His promises are good and absolutely sure, and there is no sin in His threatening, but even they are designed for our good, by discouraging us from evil. God’s word is right, and therefore all our nonconformities from it are wrong, so we are then in the right when we agree with God’s word. 2. In His WORKS, which are all done in truth, all according to His directions, which are called the scriptures of truth.] “By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.” (Psa. 33:6) [Whatever God spoke, came to pass, He is God and is in total control of everything in His creation EXCEPT for our will!] “…God said, “Let there be light,” and THERE WAS LIGHT.” (Gen. 1:3) [When we study the creation we see the words “God said” 11 times and immediately following that command “there was” whatever God said happened! All creation immediately responds to God’s command because He is God and HIS WORD HAS POWER.] “For THE WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE AND ACTIVE. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Heb. 4:12) [The KJV says the word is “quick and powerful” the AMP version says it is “alive and full of power”. The point is God’s word is so much more than just words! His words are powerful, living words that penetrate into our spirits with creative power. The results of the word penetrating our spirit should be CHANGE in us!!!] “For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through THE LIVING AND ENDURING WORD OF GOD. For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER.” And this is the word that was preached to you.” (1 Pet. 1:23-25) [Thank you Abba Father for we were once dead in our sins but you have MADE US ETERNALLY ALIVE through Jesus Christ our Lord!!!]
