21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

As we survey the history of the Christian church, we quickly see that every great revival has been preceded by a season of fervent, united prayer. We understand that revival is a sovereign work sent only by God, yet He typically begins by stirring his people to pray.

While the Spirit of God continues to move throughout many parts of the world, I am aware that in most places we stand in need of a great spiritual awakening. We desperately need an outpouring of God's Spirit, and I believe it will come as a result of our unanimous, continuous, and harmonious united prayers.

I am calling on our churches and members to mobilize their efforts and join us in a seeking God's direction for our ministries locally, nationally, and globally.

This January, the global family of the Church of God of Prophecy will once again begin the New Year with a season of prayer and fasting. As a core value, we recognize that prayer must be the foundation for all our ministry efforts and is our first great work in seeking renewal.

For twenty-one days, beginning January fifth, we will unite around specific weekly prayer directives. These prayer directives are available through our downloadable resources online and on our social media. Our leadership will also share additional prayer points and insights throughout the weeks to help insure our prayers are touching the most current needs.

On the evening of Sunday, January twenty-second, the International Offices invites you to join our annual Night of Prayer via live simulcast. During this time, you will be able to join with us in prayer, as well as submit your personal prayer needs to our team of intercessors.

Acts 2:17 reminds us of God's promise that "In the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams."
